Woodland at bottom of fieldSo what’s to see when you come to stay at Treverbyn Smithy ?

Loads!

If you’re into walking, Bodmin Moor is right on your doorstep. We’ve ordnance survey maps for pretty much the whole of Cornwall and as we’re keen walkers ourselves, we can recommend the best, most scenic and quietest walks.

The local village of St Neot is a half hours walk (5 minutes by car). This picturesque village is a previous winner of the National Village of the Year Award. The local pub, The London Inn offers an excellent range of food and we are happy to reserve you a table at the pub when you make your booking.
The local church is also well known for having probably the best stained glass windows in Cornwall.

Treverbyn Smithy is just 10 minutes drive from both the A38 and A30 roads with easy access to the south coast. The historic town of Lostwithiel (ancient capital of Cornwall) with its dramatic castle and Lanhydrock National Trust property is just 20 minutes away. The world famous Eden Project is a mere half hours drive while beautiful seaside towns like Fowey, Padstow, Port Isaac and Boscastle are all within easy reach.

We can guarantee that when you come to stay you’ll not be short of things to do and places to visit. And if you’d rather just sit out in the garden and take in the beautiful view across the valley, then you’re more than welcome to make yourself at home.
